I was paying more attention to the task manager this time, and cpu was at 0-1%, memory was at ~25%, disk was maxed out.Ġ.001 06:37:29 Factorio 1.1.39 (build 58937, win64, steam)Ġ.001 Operating system: Windows 10 (build 19042)Ġ.001 Program arguments: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Factorio\bin\圆4\Factorio.exe"Ġ.001 Read data path: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Factorio/dataĠ.001 Write data path: C:/Users/User/AppData/Roaming/Factorio Ġ.001 Binaries path: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Factorio/binĠ.010 System info: Ġ.010 Display options: Ġ.018 : \\.\DISPLAY6 - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Ġ.065 Display: 0, Output: 0, DisplayAdapter: 0, RenderingAdapter: 0 d3dcompiler_47.dllĠ.313 Initialised Direct3D: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB id: 10de-1c03 driver: nvldumdx.dll 30.Ġ.313 D3D Feature Level: 11.1, DXGI 1.5+, SwapChain: 3,flip-discard,-,-,-,noneĠ.313 Budget: 5284MB, CurrentUsage: 3MB, Reservation: 0/2770MBĠ.313 Budget: 7494MB, CurrentUsage: 0MB, Reservation: 0/3875MBĠ.313 MaximumFrameLatency: 3, GPUThreadPriority: 0Ġ.313 Graphics settings preset: very-highĠ.313 Dedicated video memory size 6052 MBĠ.366 Graphics options: Ġ.366 Ġ.393 DSound: Starting _dsound_update threadĠ.393 Backend:default Depth:16, Channel:2, Frequency:44100 MixerQuality:linearĠ.393 DSound: Enter _dsound_update tid=10804Ġ.896 Loading mod base 1.1.39 (a)ġ.251 Prototype list checksum: 3034860339ġ.584 Info PlayerData.cpp:73: Local player-data.json unavailableġ.584 Info PlayerData.cpp:76: Cloud player-data.json available, timestamp 1631496625 It didn't load, and I had to force it closed with the task manager. My task manager was at least more responsive this time, same story. It took about 5 minutes, but it closed.Ĥth and final try: I made sure my drivers were up to date, (I did actually have a new nvidea driver to install) It was the same thing. Since I loaded task manager ahead of time, I was able to close factorio from there. I left it for a long time, hoping that maybe after it loaded, it would be fine, but it never got beyond 30%. and it was freezing at 30%, creating prototypes. Third try: I open the task manager on my 2nd monitor before opening the game. I was forced to press the power button again. This time, I was at least able to get to the task manager, but everything was so slow that I couldn't even get to the point where it showed factorio on the task manager. I loaded the computer back up, tried to load it again, this time with no other programs, same thing. I was forced to press the power button on my tower. I attempted to alt + tab and everything became unresponsive. I attempted to load the game, and the initial loading bar before the main menu got to a certain point, and then it slowed my computer down to where essentially I could not do anything. I play factorio quite frequently but today is the first time I have had this problem.
